Happy Independence Day!

BOOM CRASH BANG, Today is Independence Day!

Yippee woo hoo! Look at the lights what a wonderful night.

Family and friends meet altogether.

Cooking up treasures of so much fun say it together everyone!

"Independance Day Independance Day, tonight we declare our freedom.

Be joyful, make memories this only comes around each year!

Happy Birthday America,

Everyone cheer!"

Jesus Loves

This was my first post. Some of you haven't been looking at my blog since then here you go...

Jesus died on the cross

He did this because He loves

Jesus took away our sins
He did this because He loves
Jesus healed the sick
He did this because He loves
Jesus finds the lost
He did this because He loves
Jesus loves

Beging to End

I started as a plain and dull piece of pottery

will someone see me and swoop me up in their arms?

All of a sudden a girl lightly picks me up and says, " This is the one mother."

She sets me down and ponders such things out loud like colors.

Finally she decides on brown polka dots and a flower in the center with a pink background.

She paints and paints until she is finished,

they leave me here in this place and I wonder why they do not take me.

At the store, the owners put me in a hot container.
Once I come out I am beautiful.

Later in the week my new friends pick me up and take me to their home

I am shiny and have a new feeling, and I am wanted right where I am.

If I Were

If I were a tree

I would be a cherry blossom tree,

mounted on top of the highest hilltop in Mongolia.

If you sat under my canopy,

you could hear all the laughter of the little children down in the village.

I would be the perfect cherry blossom tree.

Every day someone would sit on one of my branches and eat an apple.

The sun would shine through my flowers

and make the most beautiful shade of pink.

Children would point at the sight and ooh and aah.

I would too if I could.

I never get lonely on this hilltop of mine,

even though I am the only one here.

Every season each day someone new visits me.

Oh what a joy, oh what a joy it would be if I were a cherry blossom tree.

An Eventful Start

I have lots of new things to talk about that have happened here during the Christmas Holiday, but first I am going to show you a poem I wrote for the New Year...

New Years Arrived
It's new year already oh what a surprise, just look up and open your eyes,
there are fireworks lighting up the midnight sky, dancing and twinkling, I am totally mesmerized. Goals, improvements, resolutions, and fresh new starts that's how I would describe the new year. From 08 to 09 I would just about say that the new year has arrived!
***
OK next while we are still on the subject of poetry my mom just opened a new blog called Consider the Birds. This new site is for her to express her thoughts all in poetry. You might as well call it a poetry blog. It is great so go check it out.

***
And what a great day for a birthday party. Remember my dog Zoey? Well it was her birthday today. She turned one year old. I love her so much she is the best doggie friend EVER! So happy birthday Zoey.

Last, but not least the January GGM issue is out and it is one of the best ones yet. This month's gal is named Lady Trish. She is so sweet. I recommend this mag to you.

I Scream

I scream. You scream. We all scream for Ice cream. Wouldn’t you agree? Everyone loves ice cream don’t they? Well I do for sure! Ice cream is my favorite treat to eat especially in the summer. When I eat it, it feels like I am eating a sugary cloud of goodness.

So why am I going on about ice cream? On May 29, 1948, the first ice cream freezer was patented. I sure am glad about that, but you don’t have to have a big machine to make ice cream. Here is an easy way of making it in just five minutes…

What you will need:

* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 1/2 cup milk or half & half
* 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
* 6 tablespoons rock salt
* 1 pint-size Ziploc plastic bag
* 1 gallon-size Ziploc plastic bag
* Ice cubes

How to make it:

1. Fill the large bag half full of ice, and add the rock salt. Seal the bag.
2. Put milk, vanilla, and sugar into the small bag, and seal it.
3. Place the small bag inside the large one and seal again carefully.
4. Shake until mixture is ice cream, about 5 minutes.
5. Wipe off top of small bag, then open carefully and enjoy!

Did you know?

One of the major ingredients in ice cream is air. Without it, the stuff would be as hard as a rock.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the biggest ice cream sundae in the world was made in Alberta, Canada, in 1988. It weighed nearly 55,000 pounds!

Some of the strangest flavors of ice cream ever manufactured are avocado, garlic, bean, jalapeƱo, and pumpkin. There was even a dill pickle ice cream!

Ice cold
Creamy
Eat it fresh!

Cool on your tongue
Rocky Road
Extraordinary
A very delicious treat
Minty

***Don't forget that many Baskin Robbins (also known as 31 Flavors) has One Dollar Scoop Night on Tuesdays all year long! You can also sign up for their birthday club and you'll get a free coupon for ice cream when your birthday comes.

Happy Mothers Day!

Your as pretty as a daisy when you dance in the breeze.
.
Your filled with joy, happieness and love.
.
When you get near I feel a great comfort wash over me.

You take care of use and keep us happy.

As our mom you make us feel like we have a real purpose,

And all I can say is thank you for every thing you do.

One of my Favorite Verses

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

1 Timothy 4:11-13
